How do I use eCards?

On The Instructor Network, there is a user guide and other info under “Additional Tools”  and then “eCards and My Courses Tools”.  Your info starts on page 101 of the user guide.  The student template can also be found there.

How do I get students to claim their cards?

Before class is over, tell students to look for an email from eCards@heart.org with the subject “your AHA eCard”.  They just need to click the link, create a security password and claim their card.  

What if they don't receive their card?

Remind the student to check spam and trash folders.  Verify that you have the correct email address for the student.  On your dashboard of the instructor network, go to "eCards", then to "search eCards".  When the student comes up in the search, you can click "resend eCard".  You can change the email address there.

Name on card is misspelled. How do I fix it?

On your dashboard of the instructor network, go to "eCards", then to "search eCards".  Type in the search criteria (I usually search by date).  When the student comes up in the search, you can click "edit" and make changes there.

How to submit a roster with the new system.

Issuing eCards has made it very easy to submit your roster!  After issuing your eCards, click the "download" button before leaving the page.  Just add this info to that spreadsheet, save as the date, class type and your name and submit via email to Cindi@LearnCPRMN.com.
